Abortion Genocide Memorial

The Abortion Genocide Memorial displayed 900 3’ high white crosses, each representing 50,000, or about 45 million American abortion deaths occurring since the l973 Roe vs. Wade Decision that legalized abortion in all 50 states in America. Twenty-four 4’ high red crosses, each representing 50,000 war deaths resulting from all of the American wars including our Revolutionary War were also displayed in honor of our war deaths. The contrast in numbers shocked most first time observers.

Signage displayed key Biblical references to the shedding of innocent blood. Signage displayed and contrasted the numbers of abortion and American war deaths. The memorial took place during the National Sanctity of Human Life Week, which is commemorated by Evangelical Christian Churches in America every year during January.

PRAYER WALK THROUGH THE CROSSES

We  encouraged Christians to walk through the rows of memorial crosses and spend time in prayer.  We had scriptural references placed on small placards through the memorial to serve as inspiration to those who decided to walk through the crosses.
