About Us

Project 33 stands for the thirty-three percent of this generation (approximately 46 million babies) who have been killed by surgical abortion since the infamous Roe vs. Wade decision on January 22, 1973 .  Thirty-three years have passed since the U.S. Supreme Court, in rebellion against the Law of Almighty God, ruled children in the womb were not fully human and therefore not entitled to the protection of the laws of our land.

Project 33 is the combined effort of schools, churches, and other prolife organizations seeking to spread the truth about abortion to our surrounding communities. Every year, near the anniversary of Roe v. Wade (January 22nd, 1973), Project 33 host organizations put together a variety of pro-life events. 

The Purpose of this year’s Project 33 is to assist Christians, the church, and community to raise a moral outcry for the shedding of innocent blood in our city and nation by:

• Ministering hope and healing in our Memorial Service and Field of Crosses.

• Conducting a dynamic Youth Assembly to help inspire and equip the saints to do pro-life ministry and evangelism.

• Organizing community life proclamations and outreaches during the week of January 16-21, 2006

In the past, we have hosted youth rallies at both the Sacramento State Capitol and at Foothill Community Church in Roseville. The goal of the youth rally is to educate today's youth with the truth of abortion and to motivate youth to action.

Hope and Healing

Memorial Service - 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2006 at Foothill Community Church (all are invited).

The Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center and Foothill Community Church have come together to host a service that will feature several area pastors leading in intercessory prayer and the testimonies of women who have received hope and healing through Christ centered ministry following their abortion decisions.  43% of women will have at least one abortion by the time they are 45 years old.  Many are in our churches.  Remembering and mourning is a key to finding hope, help, and healing. A candlelight prayer walk through the field of crosses will follow the service.

Educating and Equipping: Redeeming the Abortion Generation

Youth Assembly - 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Foothill Community Church (all are invited).

This gathering is designed to reach the next generation of leaders, today’s youth, with an understanding of the truth of abortion and how they can help to stop it amongst their peers.

Our keynote speaker will be Michael Spielman, 29-year-old founder of Abort73 (see abort73.com).  We will also feature short presentations from on-fire pro-life youth ministries describing exciting and powerful ways young people can get involved.

Outreach and Witness

We will be hosting many outreach opportunities during Sanctity of Human Life Week, the week of January 16-21, 2006.  This will be a time for you to Cry out for the Speechless in the Roseville area. 

We invite you to also visit our Field of Crosses in front of Foothill Community Church.  The crosses will be on display the week of January 16, 2006. The field will be open for prayer walks all week.   Please come to witness or take time to mourn the loss of your child or the over 46 million babies killed by abortion in America since 1973.
